
Canada Day at the Muskoka Lakes Museum
The Muskoka Lakes Museum invites the community and visitors of all ages to join in a fun-filled celebration of Canada Day on Tuesday, July 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Enjoy a festive day full of activities, treats and history all included with regular admission!
This family-friendly event will feature:
—Refreshing lemonade and sweet treats to keep you cool and energized.
—A special presentation by Susan Daglish on the fascinating history of Canada’s flags. Discover how our iconic red and white Maple Leaf came to be!
—Creative craft stations, including bracelet making and the chance to design your own Canadian flag to take home.
—Lawn games in our pioneer garden
Whether you’re a local resident or just visiting the area, Canada Day at the Muskoka Lakes Museum promises to be a memorable way to celebrate our nation’s heritage in the heart of Port Carling.
