
Adventures in the Great Outdoors with Adam Shoalts
Join the Muskoka Lakes Museum for their annual fundraiser, with Canadian author and explorer Adam Shoalts. Professional adventurer and national bestselling author Adam Shoalts will discuss some of his expeditions in the wilderness, including crossing Canada’s Arctic alone by canoe, and his recent solo journey from Lake Erie to the Arctic. His books include the national bestsellers Where the Falcon Flies, Beyond the Trees, and A History of Canada in 10 Maps.
This fundraising event will take place on June 8 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at historic Windermere House.

About Adam Shoalts : Adam Shoalts is a professional explorer, bestselling author, and Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. In 2017, he completed a nearly 4,000 km solo journey across Canada’s Arctic. Geographer and historian with a Ph.D. from McMaster University, he is the Westaway Explorer-in-Residence for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and was named a national champion of the Trans-Canada Trail in 2016.
