Kid’s Summer Program

Little Green Fingers, July 14th 
 Let your children experience and grasp an understanding of the growth cycle of plants and how the garden was used in the days of the pioneers. Ages 6-12

 Kite Masters, July 21st 
Making and flying your own kite, while learning the tales of the time from when kites were first used. Ages 6-12

Interpretation of Art in Nature, July 28th. Explore and get wowed with watercolor while becoming a skillful artist. Inspired by the Group of Seven and the French En Plein Air painting style. Lead by artist Katelyn Espie. Open to ages 12+ $15.00 per person.

Pioneer Rainy Day Activities,
 Ever wonder what you would do before smartphones and the Xbox? Join us for an afternoon full of crafts and rainy day activities from the pioneer era. Ages 6-12 

Island Explorers & Terrarium Building, August 4th 
  
Scavenger hunts and tiny villages sound like the best way to spend an afternoon. Whilst learning about the typical Muskoka cottage, build your own in a tiny terrarium to take home! Ages 6-12

 Muskoka Mysteries, August 11th
Do your kids love investigations and mysteries? Join us for an afternoon of detective work while solving historical Mysteries of Muskoka!
Ages 6-12

Letters of the past, August 18th 
Become a cottager of the past and learn how postcards were used as a method of communication in Muskoka. Make your own postcard depicting what you have been doing in Muskoka and we will mail it for you! Ages 6-12

Little Rascal Weather Experts! August 25th 
 Become a meteorologist and learn how to predict the weather. Discover how sundials are used and gain an understanding of seasonal changes. Create a take-home wind meter so you can forecast the weather at home!  Ages 6-12
